Tactile Art Project – Llandough Hospital

A team of recent graduates from Cardiff School of Art and Design (comprising Adam McGee-Abe, Liz Alison and Joseph Simon Murray) has been successful in receiving a commission from Gwanwyn Festival to create a major piece of tactile artwork for installation in the new mental health facility at Llandough Hospital in the Vale of Glamorgan. The team will be blogging here regularly so you can follow the creation of this new work in the coming months.

Emrys Williams

Renowned Welsh artist Emrys Williams who will, in the coming months, be working on a major oil painting to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Gwanwyn Festival. Come back and check this blog regularly for a unique insight into the creation of a major piece of modern art.

Alice Briggs

Alice Briggs is a professional artist and museum curator based in Ceredigion. She is working with Gwanwyn festival on a project at the dementia Assessment Unit of the Royal Glamorgna Hospital at Llantrisant. She will be creating a photographic work in the Seren Ward using photographs to engage with patients. This blog will be where you can follow the propgress of the project in the coming months.
