No Regrets by Michal Iwanowski at The Courtyard, Hereford

Specially extended due to popular demand, No Regrets by Michal Iwanowski at the Courtyard, Hereford, will now run until November 7 with a special showing of the complete sequence of No Regrets photographs.

No Regrets by Michal Iwanowski is a series of photographic works documenting older people and the inspiring stories behind their tattoos.

Says Emma Robinson, Age Cymru’s Arts & Creativity Programme Manager:

“The idea for ‘No Regrets’ came from the notion that people who get tattoos are always told that they will regret them when they’re older.

“As Gwanwyn is the Wales-wide, national arts festival for older people, I thought it would be interesting to ask older people if they really do regret their tattoo.

“We are excited to be exhibiting the work for the first time outside Wales at the Courtyard Centre for the Arts and hope that this exhibition will challenge preconceptions on what it’s like to be an older person.”

The exhibition will run until November 7. To be among the first to see the show, please join us at the private view on Thursday 15th September, 6-8.
