Deep down in the dark, dark wood, secrets and stories lie, waiting to be revealed.
Strangers search the tangled undergrowth of long forgotten things with only the
fear of the unknown to keep them company. But tread carefully – who is watching
and who is waiting?
A creative collaboration between Artistic Director Caroline Lamb and young
choreographers Jessie Brett, Catherine Young and Joanna Young working with
the older dancers of Striking Attitudes in a unique and daring venture. Sound score
from young composer Ben Lunn of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Description:
Morning session consists of Patti explaining how stories edited to prose or poems can be sang as Blues or Jazz with reference to of some of the earlier female vocalists of the twentieth century. The students are then encouraged to write a short autobiographical piece of work. In the afternoon session each students will read out their own piece of writing. Patti will show how these can be vocally edited and turned into an eight or twelve bar blues, which she will then sing.
