Could you be the next Andrew Morton? Do you have a best-selling true life story inside you but don’t know where to start?

Writing from Life could have the answer. This unique one-day event brings some of the biggest names in the Welsh book world together with new writers.

Organised by Literature Wales as its first English Language event, the day-long event at Blaenavon Workmen’s Hall, aims to encourage new talent from Wales.

Writing from Life features talks from some of Wales’ best writers, Professor Dai Smith, Howard Marks, Horatio Clare, Tom Anderson, Nia Wyn, Boyd Clack and Caspar Walsh to name but a few.
Katrina Kirkwood freelancer for Breaking Barriers Community Arts Organisation will be running a digital story workshop on how to tell your story in three minutes using text, audio and visual materials.

Literature Wales Chief Executive Officer, Peter Finch will launch the event.
